There are not many people that don’t know this famous Beatles song. Recorded during the Sgt. Pepper sessions, it was released in February 1967 as one side of a double A-sided single, along with “Strawberry Fields Forever”.Penny Lane is a street near Lennon’s childhood home in Liverpool. McCartney and Lennon would meet at Penny Lane junction. This arrangement stays true to the light, melodic original score. Fun to sing and play.
